This was a phenomenal restaurant with both meat options AND vegan options. The vegan options were AMAZING. Will definitely be coming back
This place has the best sushi on the LES.
Service is always professional, prompt & courteous. Have been coming here for a long time. Sushi is always fresh, special rolls are imaginative and creative, cooked food is delicious. I love plain fish & rice, so I get the trio sushi or sushi dinner. The fish is always so fresh and delicious. My husband loves the special rolls and tried every one. Loves them all. Have also tried the udon soup...hot, delicious and noursihing. You will be happy here.
Good happy hour. I'm always a fan when food and drinks are included. But make sure you specify happy hour. He tricked me on the wine and I got charged full price. Smells a little fishy when you walk in which turns me off. I guess expected at a sushi spot. But the food is pretty decent and pretty inexpensive.
Excellent sushi! Sashimi is some of the best I've had. When you order for delivery, it's almost very fast! Haven't explored the non-sushi menu but sure it's good too.
Hana is simply the best. It's the most reliable, affordable, fastest delivery of all time, incredible customer service, non-pretentious, amazing downtown Sushi Restaurant.
Me and my boyfriend order delivery from here generally once a week, sometimes 3 times a week. It's that good. It's the kind of delivery that can melt the pain away after a long work day in NYC. I tend towards salmon/tuna maki, he likes spicy yellowtail hand rolls and a big fan of the Chicken Tatsuta Age which is like Chicken Karaage.
We marvel at the delivery, which can be at our apartment in less than 10 minutes from ordering. Truly an incredible feat. My boyfriend delivered food at Mama's, also in the LES and is blown away by the food messengers. These gentleman always arrive with a smile and the food is always on POINT!
For Valentine's Day, we thought it would be romantic and fun to go to the actual restaurant on Rivington. We got the Manhattan bridge (cuz we live at it's foot ;)....which is an insane deal! Huge, LITERAL bridge of sushi, sashimi, and hand rolls, all excellent and fresh quality! High flavor, Delicious!
(Note: Any day of the week Hana has good sushi; not just the fish delivery days;)
We also had Miso and Black Cod appetizer, both perfecto.
Wrapped it up with a superb Hot Lava Chocolate cake.
(Sidenote: Hana has great desserts like Tiramisu! Who would've thought! No joke though, it's the real deal)
My BF also had warm sake which he loved!
All included, about $100.
Hana, thank you!
I came here during lunch time and it was empty, me and my family were the only ones there. We got the lunch combo box for $12 and it was totally worth it. I didn't really understand why it was empty, food was very good, made fast and isn't expensive. The combo box comes with rice, dumplings, ginger and wasabi, California roll, soup or salad plus what ever meat you chose. I had the chicken katsu and it was very crunchy and wasn't hard at all and the meat itself was also tender. The dumpings are 3 small yet filling and tasty dumpings. California roll tasted fresh and it was a full order not just 2 or 3 pieces. I really can't see how anyone can go wrong with a combo box, I almost couldn't finish it all and it was only $12 definitely worth the price.
The interior is nice and has a relaxing feel to it. It's in a nice area and right across the street is a nice candy place to get a small tasty treat. 100% sure that I will definitely come back to eat here.
Fresh and yummy sushi, delicious dessert, and good service! Great local spot. Wish they didn't have a B as their health grade though.
Great prices, good sushi, good sashimi. Priced really well for the quality you get. I had miso, salmon nagiri and a roll for like $13 I think and that's a steal in my book
